Meet Arturo
During a Freedom Ascent training in February of 2017, Arturo a Kekchí participant thanked us for helping him feel comfortable about praying in his own language. Arturo didn't know how to read or write, but he told us that the workshop and the way we had interacted with God's Word helped him feel a wonderful freedom. We got to see that as he prayed in Kekchí, he exhibited a confidence and peace we had never seen in him when using Spanish. - Valerie, Freedom Ascent Facilitator
